SINNERS IN RECOVERY

ANONYMOUS SINNERS

About Us

Hello and welcome to Anonymous Sinners. Please note that this site IS NOT AN ADDICTION TREATMENT PROGRAM!!! This site is a christian based sinner support group that was started by a sinner that has had issues with addictions in the past. Although it has useful information for people that are recovering from addictions it is also for other people with different sins as we all need the same Christ. I am an anonymous sinner that through the grace of God and from the support of family and friends overcame drugs and alcohol. My addictions started at the age of 12 and lasted through the age of 42. God has been and continues to be good to me even while I was learning to love myself and as I continue to learn to love others better. For we all have sinned and will continue to do so whether in just our thoughts or in our reactions to some of our thoughts. Everyone should make an effort to offer each other support, understanding, and prayer as we go about the struggles of our day to day lives. PLEASE DO NOT BE DISRESPECTFUL TO OTHERS because their sin is different from yours. We are all loss souls in one form or another and sometimes all we need to get back on track is to hear an encouraging word from someone in a way that we can relate to and you just may be the one God wants to share those words.  I ask all Gods children to practice keeping your thoughts to yourself in the times when you do not have anything encouraging to say. Sometimes it may be best to just say I will pray for you. The goal of this Anonymous Sinner is to let other sinners know that God did not send Jesus here for the perfect people. Christ came and died for all of the loss sinners that needed hope and guidance back into the family.

Anonymous Sinners share inspirational messages as well as share some of our daily struggles as we navigate through a world of sin. Our goal is to support one another by spreading the hope that even though our past mistakes can help shape who we may become those mistakes do not define us. If we are willing to own up to our mistakes and learn from them we may be able to share our experiences to help others. We do this not by just believing in a higher power but by offering words of encouragement to one another and sharing what God has done for us and relying on the Highest Power which is Our Father Who Arts In Heaven. We also need to get into the habit of asking Him for the wisdom and strength to make better decisions with our free will. For the times when our thoughts may not be the most christian thing to do we may need to learn to stop and rethink before we react to our thoughts.

Striving To Help One Another

{Romans 15:1-5 (NIV) 1, We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. 2. Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. 3. For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written:"The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me." 4. For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope. 5. May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had.}

Today make an extra effort to offer words of encouragement to one another in a non judgemental way for none of us are perfect and all of us are in need of understanding and forgiveness. Don't be so quick to give up on someone that is getting on your  nerves by remembering some of the times when you where not at your best and consider where you would be if Christ had just given up on you. This site is a online support group for everyday life events (good or bad) and will only work when you use it.

The light of Christ will shine and heal

Do you want your burdens dropped
Have you looked to your father in heaven

In order to rest
You must finish this test
My advice, you must keep steppin

Don't finish, just to be done

I Repented Yesterday

I REPENTED YESTERDAY

I repented yesterday

So for now it's all good

I heard someone was going to step to me wrong

It's ok, I wish he would

I repented yesterday

Do I really need to do it again

God knows I have a good heart

And I don't mean to sin

'

I repented yesterday

But today I called someone out of their name

They know I wasn't serious

And that it was all just fun and games

I…

Why Can't I Be Blessed

WHY CAN'T I BE BLESSED

Why can't I be blessed?
Others around me have a job, a house, a car
I could've done that job better than them
But the bus stop was too far

Why can't I be blessed?
It seems your love for them is greater
I know there are things required of me
And I will get to them later

Why can't I be blessed?
I'm a good person, Lord can't you see my heart?
I know I should pay my tides and offerings
Once…

Forgiveness (What does it mean to you?)

For God so loves us all that He sent His son to die for our sins. This ultimate sacrifice made it possible for us to in a since get a clean slate. How do we use this chance to start fresh and can we learn to practice this form of grace? Of course we will never be as good at forgiveness as God but what can we do to ask for or to offer forgiveness and how do we go about doing it? What more do we need to do besides say I’m sorry or I forgive you? When you hurt someone, what do you do? When…
